Bender Companies is seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant for our on-site team at the Steger property. You will drive occupancy by guiding prospects through the leasing process, showcasing the community, and delivering exceptional resident service.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, timely communication, and adherence to local leasing laws. This full-time, on-site position offers hourly pay with commissions and renewal incentives, plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Leasing Consultant or in a sales-focused position.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local leasing laws and fair housing regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present available apartments via in-person tours, virtual tours, and calls.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to attract and qualify tenants.
• Market vacant units using online listings, social media, signage, and events.
• Communicate features, pricing, availability, and lease terms to prospects.
• Guide prospects through the leasing process to a signed lease, ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of local rental market and trends.
• Assist with resident retention, events, and customer service.
