Bender Companies is hiring a Leasing Consultant for an apartment community in Omaha. You will identify qualified prospects, guide them through the leasing process, and ensure resident satisfaction, maintaining high occupancy.

We value integrity, initiative, and inclusion. This on-site role offers a structured schedule including Saturdays, with base pay of $19–$20 per hour plus commission per new lease and renewal incentives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Leasing Consultant or in a sales focused position.
• Consistently exceeded sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to build rapport and provide tailored solutions.
• Strong knowledge of local leasing laws and fair housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Present available apartments to prospective residents through tours and calls.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to identify and qualify tenants.
• Market vacant units via online listings, social media, signage, and events.
• Communicate features, pricing, availability, and lease terms clearly.
• Guide prospects from inquiry to signed lease while ensuring policy compliance.
• Stay informed about local market trends and competitor communities.
• Assist with resident retention and community events.
