Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineering Lead (PE) to support a company focused on the development and integration of advanced Navy training systems for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. This on-site role is in Dallastown, PA or Orlando, FL, with travel to project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with structural emphasis.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments (power, shipbuilding, naval, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering leadership across a multi-disciplinary team for large-scale mechanical and structural installations.
• Review, analyze, and approve structural designs for complex systems and supports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure structural requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering decision-making during fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
• Mentor engineering personnel in a matrixed environment without direct supervisory responsibilities.
