Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for an on-site multifamily community in Dallas, TX. You will oversee maintenance operations, train staff, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering exceptional resident service.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in multifamily maintenance, leadership skills, and CPO/HVAC certifications, with availability for weekend duties and on-call rotations. Proficiency in OneSite or Yardi and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage staff and daily operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and the Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CPO & HVAC certifications.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and inventory and ensure tools are in excellent working condition.
• Monitor hazardous conditions and maintain property safety and cleanliness.
• Identify and label utility cut-offs and maintain property maps.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to uphold safety and service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the property maintenance budget and obtain management approval for major expenses.
• Coordinate with external vendors and ensure work meets company standards.
• Promote exceptional customer service and timely response to resident concerns.
