Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support or related technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience installing, maintaining, moving, or upgrading computer hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience providing technical assistance for application and hardware issues.
• Knowledge of personal computers, computer components, and printers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of computer operations, information systems, software, hardware, and information-security practices.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Ability to lift and relocate up to 30 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Image and configure computers for deployment.
• Replace existing computers and docking stations as part of a technology refresh initiative.
• Migrate user data between existing and replacement computers.
• Install, maintain, move, test, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Provide technical assistance for application and hardware issues.
• Support Windows-based computers and operating systems.
• Assist users with computers, software applications, printers, and peripherals.
• Document technical support activities and maintain service records.
• Assist with hardware and software upgrades and replacements.
• Follow established information-security policies and procedures.
• Support users and technical teams with day-to-day technology needs.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians, technical subject matter experts, and project leadership.
• Maintain strong customer service and communication throughout equipment deployments and support activities.
