Job summary

Valeo Networks is seeking a motivated on-site technical support specialist based in or near Cincinnati, OH. You will join the technical team, resolving server and firewall issues, assisting customers on-site, and prioritizing support tickets while ensuring thorough documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in IT support, strong Windows troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with VPNs, remote desktop, and security tools. A+ / MCP / MCSE are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

3-5 years in the technical support field or IT industry.
Willing to learn and grow with the team.
Strong Windows troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Server troubleshooting experience preferred.
Experience with Firewalls.
Handle printer issues (local and network).
Experience with internet connectivity, FTP transfers, and webmail access.
Map drives, logon scripts, and creating new user accounts.
Troubleshoot virus-infected workstations and laptops.
Manage file rights, permissions, offline folders, and remote file sharing.
Support wireless access and Bluetooth devices.
VPN, remote desktop, and terminal services experience.
Kaseya experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for customers in the Cincinnati area.
Install servers and firewalls, resolve issues, and troubleshoot end-user tickets.
Prioritize support requests and document issues clearly.
