Sonic Systems International is seeking an IT Generalist/Support Specialist to install and maintain a custom data system on-site for nuclear outages across client locations. The role covers communication systems, VOIP devices, mobile units, and video encoding hardware.

Travel to customer sites is required during February–May and September–November. Candidates should have 1 year IT experience, familiarity with networking, VMware and Active Directory; industry certifications are preferred.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of IT experience.
• Networking experience is a plus.
• Experience with virtual servers or VMware is a plus.
• Active Directory Administration experience is a plus.
• 1st Tier Desktop Support must have 1 year of experience.
• Clean background with no outstanding/ pending legal charges.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and random.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Non-US citizen must hold current work visa or green card.
• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Recommended certifications: MCP or MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A+, VCP.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and support a custom data system deployed on-site.
• Manage communication systems, VOIP phones, and mobile units.
• Provide support for video encoding hardware and software; desktop support.
• Hardware maintenance, network troubleshooting, and software upkeep.
• Coordinate with other support teams to resolve issues and report status.
