Assistance Plus is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our Benton, ME team. You will support hardware, software, user accounts, and deployment of equipment across locations, including on-site visits and monthly updates through Ninja.

Responsibilities include configuring laptops, assisting with AD/Exchange/SharePoint, managing the Halo ticket system, and promoting data security practices. Travel to agency locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Maine driver's license required.
• Proof of vehicle insurance with minimum coverage of $50,000/$100,000 required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
• Understanding of network printing and scanning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with Microsoft Teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of CareVoyant is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and equipment for employees.
• Provide technical support for Windows OS, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Maintain the ticket system (Halo) with detailed communication and prompt responses.
• Assist with Active Directory, Exchange Mail, and SharePoint administration.
• Manage files, folders, and user permissions across the system.
• Support basic networking functions and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Promote data security best practices across the organization.
• Respond to and resolve staff technology requests.
• Troubleshoot documentation and software system issues.
• Create and update electronic forms and resources used by employees.
• Travel to agency locations to provide on-site support.
• Lift, transport, and install equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain security checkpoints and cameras at all locations.
• Maintain and program mobile phones for staff via MDM Entra.
