Job summary

Allwire Technologies in Redmond, WA seeks an IT Tech to join our small, collaborative team. You’ll manage Microsoft 365 Entra ID/Intune, automate tasks with PowerShell, and plan IT projects with clients. The role blends on-site client work with remote support (hybrid).

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune, supported by certs, work experience, or homelab projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot with limited information and seek it from multiple sources including the client.
• Strong knowledge of firewall, switch, router, and security technologies.
• Excellent grammar and communication, with a collaborative spirit.
• Team-oriented, eager to learn, and willing to travel for on-site client interactions.
• Comfort using AI tools to assist organization, communication, and troubleshooting.
• Valid WA driver’s license and reliable home internet for remote workdays.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft 365 Intune/Entra ID hybrid environments, including Autopilot enrollment, and automate tasks using PowerShell and Azure.
• Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Communicate options to clients and land on the best fit with the team.
• Balance remote responsibilities with on-site client and datacenter interactions.
• Maintain current knowledge of security and networking best practices to protect client systems.
• Use Spiceworks and NinjaOne (NinjaRMM) for comprehensive client support and issue resolution.
• Employ Slack, Trello, Toggl, Google Calendar, and Outlook for project management and collaboration.
• Spec, build, and test high-performance workstations, desktops, and rack servers.
• Configure and audit WatchGuard, Cisco Meraki, Extreme, Fortinet, Ruckus, and Aruba devices to safeguard data.
• Maintain datacenter switches, firewalls, and routers, including secure remote access (Tailscale) and edge services (Cloudflare).
