Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to manage on-site IT operations for a Washington DC area client. You will deliver end-user support, perform device setup, and coordinate with Ntiva remote teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, patch management, playbook updates, and clear client communications. Strong MS 365, Intune, Autopilot, and networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, service delivery, MSP or internal IT environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online/Entra ID, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Identity and access management experience: MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD.
• Windows endpoint support, imaging and device configuration.
• Experience with Intune and Autopilot; device compliance and remediation.
• Networking fundamentals: VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP basics.
• Ability to manage service reviews, KPI tracking and stakeholder reporting.
• Proven documentation and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication; able to explain tech to non-technical staff.
• Leadership experience in IT capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT operations governance and daily client support.
• Deliver scheduled on-site support and address hardware/software issues.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding activities and coordinate with Ntiva teams.
• Create and maintain client documentation and playbooks; ensure security and patch compliance.
• Produce concise weekly reports on ticket trends, actions, and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with remote support for complex incidents and initiatives.
• Maintain server room documentation and environment diagrams.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.
