International Minerals Carlsbad LLC is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support the site infrastructure in Carlsbad, NM. The role covers Windows systems, AD, networking, cloud services, security, and end-user support across office and operation areas.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years in systems administration, strong Windows experience, and familiarity with VMware/Azure/Intune. On‑site, cross‑functional collaboration and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in systems administration or IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, routing, and switching.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows servers, workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Maintain Active Directory, GPOs, user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook, and Entra ID; manage cloud services and MFA.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network cabling, fiber optics, and infrastructure.
• Install, patch, upgrade OSs, apps, endpoints, and peripherals.
• Support cybersecurity controls including endpoint protection, encryption, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor system and network availability, performance, storage, and health.
• Maintain backups and participate in disaster recovery testing.
• Provide responsive support for hardware, software, email, network, and printers.
• Document tickets in Zendesk and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Support Autodesk products (AutoCAD) when applicable.
• Maintain inventories and update configurations and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for technology procurement and maintenance.
• Respond to disruptions across office and operational areas.
