Job summary

Koniag Government Services in Carlsbad, NM seeks a Systems Administrator to support DOE-related IT infrastructure. You will work with network engineers, service desks, and federal staff to maintain high availability, security, and performance across systems.

Requires 2+ years in IT support, Windows Server/AD expertise, and M365 administration; familiarity with PKI, two‑factor auth, and SAN storage is expected. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or 4 years IT experience with Microsoft Windows server administration and AD/WAN
• 2+ years IT help desk or service desk experience including ticketing systems
• Experience with M365 Exchange architecture and VOIP integration is required or highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute with Network engineers and IT staff to maintain enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and training.
• Provide technical support and resolve escalated server/storage issues.
• Monitor performance, apply updates/patches, and ensure data security and availability.
