Job summary

Norbeck Technologies seeks an IT Support Specialist / Workstation Administrator to support the Army Transition Assistance Program at Fort Riley, KS, on-site. You will provide Tier 1/2 IT support, configure workstations, and manage AD accounts to ensure smooth TAP lab operations.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ CE, with 2–4 years of desktop support, Windows administration, and strong customer service in a demanding government setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of application.
• CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570.01-M / 8140 IAT Level II) certification required.
• 2–4 years of desktop support or workstation administration experience.
• Microsoft Windows 10/11 Enterprise OS administration.
• Active Directory user and computer account management.
• Hardware diagnostics for desktops, printers, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for TAP operations at Fort Riley.
• Manage workstation configurations and software deployments.
• Maintain Active Directory accounts and permissions, CAC/PKI access.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to keep labs running.
• Monitor security and DoD baseline requirements for workstations.
• Log, track, and resolve incidents in the ticketing system.
