Job summary

Ho-Chunk, Inc. seeks an Information Technology Specialist to support the Travis AFB Education Center. The role emphasizes IT system administration, network upkeep, and user support to minimize downtime across offices, classrooms, labs, and testing assets.

The position requires one year of experience and mandatory A+ and Security+ certifications; DoD access will be granted after security clearance. Part-time schedule 0730–1230 with on-site work at Travis AFB, CA.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of current experience (within the past five years).
• Mandatory A+ and Security+ certifications are required.
• Familiarity with Air Force automated education systems and related DLPT/My Learning CDC systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain computer/testing lab servers and ensure Windows systems are up to date.
• Maintain local area network including routers, switches, servers, Wi-Fi, and display systems.
• Provide PC desktop and server support for FSDE computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Establish backup methodologies and safeguard data for uninterrupted service and recovery.
• Install and configure new hardware/software, including setup of new computers and related furniture.
