Job summary

Revolution Technologies is seeking a School Technician (Tech Support Specialist) in Atlanta, GA to provide on-site, client-facing technology support in a K-12 district environment. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network incidents, maintain accurate incident records, and collaborate with the District's Technology Support Center to ensure rapid, reliable service.

The role emphasizes secure handling of district data, adherence to IT standards, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years of related technology experience may substitute for each year of college.
• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred but not required.
• End-user hardware knowledge: desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals.
• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT support tools (Active Directory, endpoint management, service desks).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to learn new technologies and guide end users.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site end-user support by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, network, and instructional technology issues.
• Delivers Tier 1 and Tier 2 on-site support and coordinates with the Technology Support Center.
• Maintains incident tracking communication and escalates issues as needed.
• Supports district IT standards, security policies, and digital safety for students.
