Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking an IT Help Desk / Desktop Support professional to assist the IT Manager with on-site systems maintenance, software installation, and user licensing for compliance tracking.

You will support Active Directory, Exchange, AS/400, and various business apps (InfoGenesis POS, TimeWorks, Infinium GL/HR). Casino environment experience is preferred and a background check plus gaming license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s degree in IT/CS or related field preferred.
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems and asset tracking.
• Prior casino/resort/enterprise environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the IT Manager with maintenance and support of all computer systems on-site.
• Installs software applications and documents user licensing for compliance tracking.
• Networks multi-user applications and performs LAN configurations and installations.
• Tests, diagnoses, and supports hardware, software, and network components.
• Terminates and meters network cabling and patch panels.
• Manages users and groups within Active Directory and Exchange.
• Maintains user profiles on AS/400/5250 systems and other enterprise platforms.
• Supports user accounts and permissions in various systems (TimeWorks, ACSC Slot, Infinium GL/HR, InfoGenesis POS, Lottery).
• Maintains records and service requests using Track-it and provides basic training to end users.
• Maintains AS/400 printers and in-house developed software; ensures network security and stability.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on desktop PCs and printers.
• Interacts with departments to resolve end-user issues.
