Job summary

Mountain Land Physical Therapy Partners in Salt Lake City is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist to keep our outpatient clinics’ technology running smoothly. You will handle desktop and device issues, set up new hires, and manage user accounts while ensuring security and HIPAA privacy.

This is a full-time, on-site role with travel to clinics for hardware replacements and installs, requiring documentation of actions and escalation of complex problems for deeper fixes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Ability to work on-site at clinic locations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Exposure to HIPAA/privacy considerations (preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Take in support requests, prioritize them, work them, and document what you did.
• Fix issues at the desktop and device level, including software installs, hardware swaps, and configuration.
• Set up equipment and accounts for new hires, and make sure access is removed when people leave.
• Support clinic technology including workstations, printers, phones, tablets, and payment terminals.
• Travel to clinics for hardware replacements, installs, and issues that cannot be fixed remotely.
• Escalate the things that need deeper technical involvement, and learn from how they get solved.
• Keep asset records accurate and write up the fixes that other people will need later.
