Job summary

AXS, a subsidiary of AEG, is seeking an IT Specialist I to support IT Operations at events. You will install and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks on client sites and provide remote hands assistance to ensure smooth operations.

Role requires 1+ year IT experience, relevant degree, and willingness to travel up to 60%. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and 401k. Based in Los Angeles, this is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years IT support or related role.
• AA/AS or BA/BS degree in information technology or related field.
• Installation, troubleshooting, and support of networking and workstation hardware on client premises.
• Windows OS, Windows Server, and Apple iOS knowledge.
• Networking basics (OSI, TCP/IP), WAN devices, cabling, and Wi-Fi.
• Self-motivated, reliable, able to work independently or in a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients.
• Able to work off-hours, on-call, and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willing to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Set up equipment for clients and performers, including access control systems and switches.
• Provide remote hands assistance as requested by customers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on hardware and event logistics.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, shipments, and discrepancies.
• Investigate and improve IT procedures and applications.
• Communicate with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
• Support smaller projects, operations, and live events.
• Install and troubleshoot network gear, access control, hardware and software.
