Job summary

AXS, a subsidiary of AEG, seeks an IT Specialist I in the Los Angeles area to deliver end‑to‑end IT operations support at events. You will configure hardware, assist with network issues, and provide on-site and remote help to clients and performers.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in IT support, relevant degree, and solid knowledge of Windows OS/Server and iOS. This is a full-time role with significant travel and on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in IT support or related role.
• AA/AS or BA/BS in information technology or related field.
• Installation, troubleshooting, and support of networking and workstation hardware on client premises.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and Apple iOS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients for software, hardware, and network issues with timely resolution.
• Set up equipment for clients and performers, install computers, access control systems, switches, and software.
• Provide remote hands assistance as requested by customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address hardware and event logistics needs.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, shipments, records, and discrepancies.
• Investigate and implement improvements to procedures and applications.
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Support smaller projects, operations, and live events.
• Engage in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing network gear, access control, hardware and software.
