Job summary

AXS is seeking an IT Specialist I to execute support activities across IT Operations, including event support, on-site setup, and network troubleshooting for end users and clients at various festivals.

The role requires 1+ year in IT support, an IT degree, and proficiency with Windows OS/Server, Apple iOS, and networking. Travel up to 60% and on-call work are expected, with a competitive benefits package and a pay scale of $27.61–$28.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an IT support position or related role.
• AA/AS or BA/BS degree in information technology or related field.
• Installation, troubleshooting, and support of networking and workstation hardware on client premises.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and Apple iOS.
• Working knowledge of Networking (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) and WAN devices, circuits, cabling, and telephonic and/or Wi‑Fi technology.
• Must be self-motivated, capable of troubleshooting, and work independently or in a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
• Willingness to work off-hours, on-call, and weekends; travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
• Set up all equipment for clients and performers, including access control systems and switches.
• Provide remote hands assistance as requested by customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address hardware and event logistics.
• Manage inventory and shipments, maintain records, and identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and implement improvements to procedures and applications.
