Job summary

AXS, based in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking an IT Specialist I to deliver on-site IT operations for events, including setup, troubleshooting, and client support across venues.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, manage inventory, and assist with hardware, software, and network issues during live events. Travel up to 60% is required; strong Windows, networking, and iOS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT support experience.
• AA/AS or BA/BS in information technology or related field.
• Installation, troubleshooting, and support of networking and workstation hardware on client premises.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and Apple iOS.
• Networking (OSI layers, TCP/IP) and WAN devices, cabling, and Wi‑Fi.
• Knowledge of desk-side and server environment concepts and procedures.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients.
• Willing to work off-hours, on-call, and weekends; travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to clients, assisting with software, hardware, and network issues.
• Setups for clients and performers, installing computers and switches.
• Provides remote hands assistance as requested by customers.
• Communicates with cross‑functional teams to address hardware and event logistics.
• Manages inventory, tracks stock levels and shipments, and identifies discrepancies.
• Investigates and improves existing procedures and applications.
• Communicates with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
• Supports smaller projects, operations, and live events.
• Performs problem-solving and monitoring for network gear and hardware.
