Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in imaging and installing computer equipment.
• Ability to unpack/re-pack, move, and install pallets of IT equipment without restrictions.
• Personal transportation during work hours.
• Ability to traverse campus, stoop, crouch, reach, and push carts with equipment.
• Experience supporting hardware and software, troubleshooting, and deployment projects.
• Knowledge of system and network troubleshooting, including high availability systems.
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, image, and set up equipment including PCs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, scanners, and network connections at VA facilities and offsite training centers.
• Unbox, set up, install, configure, remove equipment, and re-package hardware for shipment.
• Transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across site campus, including on carts.
• Support hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, perform system imaging, hardware break-fix support, and participate in refresh, upgrade, and deployment projects.
• Support setup at various training sites.
• Conduct routine system administration tasks and maintain logs of troubleshooting activities.
• Work independently while providing excellent customer service.
