Job summary

Kraken Kinetics is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the front-line technical resource for employees. You will own day-to-day device support, ensure devices stay configured and up to date, and work closely with IT leadership on security standards.

The role focuses on front-line support, device lifecycle execution, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and training staff on secure Microsoft 365 GCC High collaboration tools. It is an on-site, full-time position in Pinehurst, NC area.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional IT help desk or desktop support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and iOS management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC High tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Strong customer service orientation and clear communication with non-technical staff.
• Comfort following documented security and configuration standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1-2 device and software support for employees.
• Own help desk intake, triage, resolution, and escalation to IT Manager as needed.
• Manage device lifecycle tasks including imaging, issuance, configuration, maintenance, and retirement.
• Support onboarding/offboarding with hardware setup and account access coordination.
• Train employees on secure use of GCC High Microsoft 365 tools and maintain knowledge base.
