Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a proactive Help Desk Specialist / System Administrator for an immediate temporary on-site assignment from October through December. The role pays $28.00–$32.00 per hour for an 8-hour day, with a 1-hour lunch break, and includes two weeks of paid side-by-side training to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (equivalent experience/certifications accepted).
• 1–3 years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding for new hires, including account provisioning, device imaging, and hardware setup.
• Provide responsive technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile, network, and printer issues.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, licensing, and permissions across core business platforms.
• Support operational technology, including shop floor hardware, label printers, and specialized system terminals.
• Maintain IT inventory, log tickets, document resolutions, and elevate complex technical issues when necessary.
