Job summary

OnSite Dealer Solutions is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to provide remote technical support to employees, field staff, and approved external users. The role handles requests from routine user assistance to more advanced troubleshooting and supports SERV and daily IT operations.

The candidate will report to IT leadership, work independently when possible, and escalate issues as needed. Occasional travel may be required for deployments or trainings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Experience providing remote technical support to end users.
• Familiarity with an IT ticketing or service-management system.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, applications, and basic networking.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support using computer applications and remote-access tools.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and resolve support requests through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot issues with computers, OS, apps, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting including VPN and authentication.
• Assist with onboarding, provisioning, access management, and equipment deployment.
• Support SERV and other company-supported platforms, including user training.
• Create and maintain technical procedures and knowledge-base documentation.
• Communicate clearly with employees, leadership, customers, and supported users.
• Identify issues for escalation and document troubleshooting steps.
• Help improve support processes, ticket workflows, and service delivery.
• Manage multiple requests and priorities while meeting deadlines.
