Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site IT support specialist in Scottsdale, AZ to provide desktop support to customers and serve as the escalation point for L1 resources. You will troubleshoot and document IT activities and ensure Windows desktop OS issues are resolved efficiently.

The role requires strong communication skills, practical IT support knowledge, and hands-on experience with SCCM and Active Directory, along with remote-control tools for managing endpoints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of desktop support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of IT support concepts and practices.
• Working knowledge of SCCM, AD and remote-control tools.
• Exceptional PC troubleshooting skills with Windows desktop OS’s.
• Knowledge of all software applications used within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for customers.
• Escalation point for L1 resources for Desktop related issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and documentation of IT support activities.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop Operating Systems.
• Work with PSA/service desk tools for managing asset, configuration, request, and incident information.
• Maintain PC asset inventory and perform replacements.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
• Coordinate vendor support.
• Emphasize client support and providing accurate friendly customer service.
