Job summary

Radley James in New York is seeking a highly capable IT Support Engineer to join a fast-paced trading firm. You will provide hands-on technical support to traders, developers, and business teams in a high-performance environment where reliability, speed, and attention to detail are critical.

You will work with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure users and trading operations have the technology they need to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Experience in financial services or high-pressure environments is desirable.
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, hands-on technical support to traders and employees across the firm.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, connectivity, and application issues.
• Support Windows workstations, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Configure and maintain trading-floor workstations and multi-monitor setups.
• Respond rapidly to incidents affecting critical users and business functions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and connectivity issues in partnership with infrastructure teams.
• Set up technology for new hires, including accounts, hardware, software, and access permissions.
• Manage user moves, equipment changes, and employee offboarding.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and technical documentation.
• Work with vendors and technology partners to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, automation, and process improvements.
• Follow robust security, change-management, and incident-management procedures.
