Job summary

Ohio's Hospice is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support to staff across Dayton/Centerville locations. The role covers Tier 1–3 support, on-site assistance, and systems maintenance to ensure availability and security.

You will install, configure, and repair computers, assist with backups, document IT procedures, and help doctors, nurses, and staff use secure systems while meeting regulatory requirements. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field or equivalent experience.
Experience in IT support, help desk, or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft operating systems.
Experience with GUI-based applications.
Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and explain solutions clearly.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing responsibilities.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Ability to maintain state-required minimum automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1–3 technical support via phone, email, on-site, and in-person assistance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, peripherals, and system issues.
Install, upgrade, configure, maintain, and repair computers and software.
Research issues, perform diagnostics, and identify effective solutions.
Maintain IT systems for availability, security, and compliance.
Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes.
Perform day-to-day user administration and system maintenance.
Maintain IT inventory and manage assets issuance, tracking, and recovery.
Assist with backups and routine IT operations.
Participate in planning for system development, acquisitions, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, standards, and Ohio's Hospice policies.
