Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an IT Support Analyst to back daily technology operations for our Oklahoma City-based oil and gas company. The role prioritizes Windows-based systems, end-user support, and infrastructure maintenance in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

The candidate should have 2+ years in IT support, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently with occasional field-site travel. Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support, desktop support, or systems administration experience.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, basic networking, and endpoint security.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and ticketing platforms.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end users in a Windows 10/11 environment.
• Manage and respond to user requests via the internal IT ticketing system.
• Assist with Active Directory user and group management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Apply and maintain Group Policy settings for consistent configurations and security.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment and conference room tech.
• Maintain system security through updates and endpoint protection practices.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning/removal.
• Monitor network connectivity, printing, and shared resources.
• Document hardware, software, and IT processes with asset tracking.
