Job summary

Questeq is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (On-Site) to join the Peters Township School District. You will provide end-to-end support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers across the district, focusing on efficient problem identification and resolution.

The role emphasizes imaging new machines, software installation, patch management, and maintaining security updates; you will apply Active Directory policies, manage BIOS updates, and interact with customers by phone

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; experience providing computer and network support.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess extensive troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• New computer setup including imaging, software installation, hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Problem identification and resolution with focus on help desk ticket resolution.
• Develop desktop strategies and configuration options to meet customer needs.
• Architect, create, deploy and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
• Implement patch distribution management (desktop).
• Ensure OS has latest security updates and manages BIOS & driver maintenance.
• Understand Active Directory policies and maintain application groups.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Provide ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
• Address tickets promptly and manage multiple priorities.
