Job summary

Prudent Technology LLC is seeking a Senior IT Technician to serve as on-site Program Manager for the USDA Enterprise Depot Support Services contract in Beltsville, Maryland. The role combines hands-on floor leadership with accountability for production planning, staffing, safety, and quality against defined service levels.

The candidate will act as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR, and will perform production duties on the imaging bench while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years IT operations or depot services; 2+ years leading a technical team.
• Experience managing daily production schedules and service levels.
• Experience as a customer-facing point of contact on a government contract.
• Knowledge of device imaging, hardware triage, and IT asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site point of contact for CO/COR.
• Own daily production board and staffing across imaging, returns, refurbishment, receiving, picking, shipping, and labeling.
• Manage staffing and attendance to ensure continuous coverage at required stations.
• Monitor performance against contract standards and quality levels.
• Oversee quality checks, production reviews, and corrective actions.
• Ensure safety training and OSHA compliance for all personnel.
• Coordinate credentialing and badging with COR; ensure workforce integrity.
• Provide weekly staffing and performance reports to government and leadership.
• Perform production duties during peak workloads.
