You will lead infrastructure, manage budgets, and ensure security, reliability, and performance across VMware, servers, networking, and end-user devices. The role demands strong communication, policy development, and the ability to mentor IT engineers while coordinating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years IT infrastructure direct technical support.
• 3+ years technology operations management experience.
• Knowledge of modern network switching and secure access to cloud platforms; VMware, Windows Server and AD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure with strategic direction for components.
• Develop annual budgets for upgrades; manage overall IT budget.
• Ensure resource allocation for IT projects and oversee hardware/software deployments.
• Maintain controls for transitioning projects to production in facilities.
• Implement IT policies to protect data security and integrity.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess technology needs and solutions.
• Stay updated on trends and implement relevant technologies.
• Support professional development of IT engineers and staff.
• Prepare staff for cybersecurity training and travel-related requirements.
• Develop emergency response and outage recovery plans; ensure minimal disruption.
• Ensure backup and recovery procedures are followed.
• Provide direct technical support during emergencies and outages; coordinate with teams for resolution.
• Monitor, maintain, and support critical infrastructure; analyze performance trends.
• Remediate infrastructure and server performance issues to minimize downtime.
• Resolve end-user issues quickly; lead remote troubleshooting when needed.
• Oversee client device deployments and repairs, including Apple Business Manager.
• Manage audio/visual systems and coordinate with AV vendor.
