Job Bank in Milton, Ontario is seeking a permanent, full-time IT help desk/technical support professional to provide first-line computer and network assistance at the client site. The role offers 35 hours per week at 36.50 CAD per hour, with no remote work option.

You will set up equipment, assist users, backup and recover Web-server data, supervise colleagues, and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions. A college or diploma program of 1–2 years is required; experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Requires a college diploma or certificate from a 1–2 year program.
• Experience as an asset but not required.
• On-site position with no remote work option.

Responsabilités

• Provide access to computer networks and report on performance.
• Respond to users with difficulties and research solutions using guides and manuals.
• Maintain a log of problems and solutions for the team.
• Participate in redesigns of applications and software; supervise other tech staff.
• Provide business, network and Internet support to users; set up equipment for employees.
• Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations; deliver customer service.
