Job summary

Novelty Inc. in Greenfield, IN is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for employees, configure hardware and software, and assist with IT projects that improve operations.

You will troubleshoot Windows devices, manage Microsoft 365 apps, and help maintain security, backups, and network services while delivering friendly, patient user support. This role requires a relevant degree or experience, 2+ years in IT support, and a proactive mindset to grow

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of Help Desk or IT Support experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, PC hardware and troubleshooting, printers and peripherals, and basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employee technical support requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Set up new employee workstations, user accounts, and equipment.
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and OneDrive.
Document support requests and resolutions.
