Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas seeks an IT End User Services specialist to provide Tier 1 helpdesk support via phone and in-person at Austin worksites. The role resolves basic tickets and may travel to sites as needed to assist users.

You will create accounts, configure hardware, install software, image computers, and support AV equipment in conference rooms while maintaining asset inventories and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 10, macOS and Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory maintenance, PC hardware, printers, scanners and peripherals, mobile devices.
• Experience with client PC connectivity – ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN, RDP.
• Experience with antivirus security products.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Texas Driver’s License and vehicle in good condition with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Resolves or escalates Tier 1 helpdesk tickets.
• Follows up on outstanding tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Creates accounts and configures hardware including installation of software, imaging computers, upgrading and replacing hardware and software.
• Supports audio and video equipment in conference rooms.
• Maintains internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Communicates both verbally and in writing in a professional and respectful manner.
• Collaborates with others.
• Delivers exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
