Job summary

Therm-x of California in Hayward, CA is seeking a hands-on On-Site IT Administrator to keep users, systems, and the network running smoothly. The role blends help desk support with light systems and network administration, covering Windows 11, Active Directory, and Office 365 tasks.

You will troubleshoot issues and implement security and access controls while supporting a growing IT footprint.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support or admin experience.
• Solid Windows 11 deployment troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
• Administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Manage Windows Updates and patch cycles on workstations and servers.
• Monitor server health, backups, and event logs; respond to alerts.
• Set up, configure, and deploy new hardware; onboarding/offboarding of equipment.
• Administer Active Directory Domain Services and group policies.
• Support Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive access.
