Us Tech Solutions in Roseville, CA is seeking an entry to mid-level System Administrator to support design, provisioning, installation and configuration of hardware and software under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

This role requires monitoring, incident response, and documentation of procedures, with 24x7 operations experience and collaboration with multiple departments and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience troubleshooting IT performance problems and performing application releases.
• 3 years’ experience with Operating Systems, Workstations and Servers.
• 2 years’ Experience in Patch Management, domain management, and server application management.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to author, present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in working in a 24x7 operations model.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and perform complex administration of various applications, Microsoft technologies and server, storage and backup systems.
• Troubleshooting and configuration of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS and DHCP, Enterprise Patching, file and print services.
• Review a wide range of tickets—server, application, network, end user—and escalate to the appropriate supervisor.
• Install new and rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals and services in accordance with standards and project requirements.
• Authoring, interpreting and maintaining system documentation.
• Support monitoring systems and troubleshoot concepts.
• Follow security protocols, including authentication, data encryption, access controls, and incident reporting.
