Job summary

IES is seeking a Project Lead - Infrastructure to act as the on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for voice and data installation projects. The role ensures job completion in line with company and customer safety and quality standards while keeping staff productivity high.

The incumbent will supervise crews, coordinate with the Project Manager on productivity and budget, and manage project paperwork, blueprints, and on-site communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an electrician or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Minimum of six (6) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Must possess and be able to effectively use the listed tools.
• Must have proven skill to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead major project crews; provide training; enforce safety and quality guidelines; conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and budget compliance.
• Complete all IES COMMERCIAL and project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, transfers, work orders, change orders, tools, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact; attend meetings when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; handle other assigned responsibilities.
