Job summary

CBTS is seeking an on-site IT professional with 3–4 years of information technology experience to support shop-floor installations and deployment tasks. You will work closely with the Technology Lead on site, performing hardware deployments, documentation, and post-migration testing to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves hands-on support for remote service providers, inventory maintenance, and collaboration across site teams to enable network infrastructure projects and security updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of information technology experience.
• Able to work on-site on the shop floor.
• Experience with hardware installation and network equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for remote service providers.
• Physically install network and computing devices.
• Maintain and document inventory of equipment.
• Assist with post-migration testing and deployment tasks.
• Coordinate with the Technology Lead on deployment activities.
• Support network hardware security patching and firmware upgrades.
• Read engineering drawings relevant to tooling and hardware.
• Support network infrastructure-related projects and refresh cycles.
• Assist with asset identification and network segmentation initiatives.
