Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher 2 to provide developmentally appropriate activities in a nurturing early childhood program. You will work with an experienced teacher to support health, safety, and family partnerships in a high-quality environment.

The role requires FCCPC Birth–5, CDA or ECPC options, CPR/First Aid certification, and 9 ECE college credits. RCMA offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• FCCPC Birth – 5 years OR Infant Toddler National CDA OR ECPC OR CCAC.
• 9 college credits in early childhood education (480 hours) in teaching infant and toddler age children; additional training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a teaching team to build warm, secure relationships with each child.
• Use the HighScope curriculum to plan environments, activities, and daily routines.
• Use HighScope interaction strategies with infants/toddlers.
• Observe, screen and assess children to support developmental progress.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Be an engaged partner with families.
• Manage the classroom and maintain professionalism.
