Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher 2 to join our on-site early childhood program in Florida. You will collaborate with a teaching team to deliver HighScope-based activities that support development and family engagement in a safe, nurturing classroom.

Responsibilities include planning daily routines, observing progress, and upholding RCMA standards, including FCCPC/ CDA credentials and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• One of the listed credentials or equivalent in early childhood education.
• Must possess CPR and Pediatric First Aid certifications.
• Must hold an NCDA or FCCPC certificate.
• Member of the community being served and, when applicable, farm worker background.

Responsibilities

• Work with a teaching team to provide developmentally appropriate activities for young children.
• Use the HighScope curriculum to plan environments, activities, and daily routines.
• Observe, screen and assess young children to support ongoing developmental progress and RCMA goals.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Be an engaged partner with families and manage the classroom.

Education

Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Birth – 5 years

Infant Toddler National CDA

Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC)

Child Care Apprenticeship Certificate (CCAC)

9 college credits in early childhood education and 3 months of experience in teaching infant and toddler age children
