Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to serve as the sole on-site electrician at a Sheridan, AR facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, conveyors, motors, and AC/DC drives, with a focus on ladder logic troubleshooting for Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.

You will work with 480V and higher voltage equipment, install and repair conduit and wiring, and document activities for reliability and improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience required.
Experience working with higher voltage equipment (480V and above).
Proficient in PLC troubleshooting using ladder logic.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, conveyors, motors, and AC/DC drives to ensure reliable operation of production equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs primarily using ladder logic with ability to diagnose AB and Siemens systems.
Work with 480V and higher voltage equipment safely, including three-phase motors.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to drives, motors, and control systems.
Install, maintain, and repair conduit, wiring, and electrical components per codes and safety standards.
Document maintenance activities and findings for reliability and continuous improvement.
Work independently as the on-site electrician and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
