Job summary

Tri-City Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support Davenport, IA construction projects. You will coordinate project documentation, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards while working with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities include managing submittals, RFIs, logs, schedules, and milestones; tracking subcontractor progress; participating in shop drawing reviews; and preparing closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Excel.
• Experience with Procore project software.
• Experience creating estimates with Sage/Timberline.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred; willing to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery by ensuring work is on schedule and within budget.
• Manage and track project documentation (submittals, RFIs, logs, schedules, milestones).
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor progress and coordinate across project phases.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings, site visits, and client communications.
• Assist in gathering project documentation and identifying constructability issues or access constraints.
• Participate in shop drawing reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, organize, and support all project closeout documentation.
