Job summary

Gleeds is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery across complex industrial and MEP projects in Goldsboro, NC. The role focuses on field leadership, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants and a broad stakeholder network, while ensuring alignment with approved designs and programmes.

You will manage change processes, monitor progress against milestones, drive safety and quality, and report regularly on risks, changes and issue resolution to project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven track record in industrial construction and MEP projects.
• Experience leading on-site teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day on-site construction management and leadership.
• Oversee industrial construction activities and coordinate MEP packages.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against project programme and milestones.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, delays, and impacts to delivery.
• Coordinate sequencing of MEP and industrial activities.
• Manage change management processes with proper assessment and communication.
• Assess impact of changes on scope, cost, schedule, and delivery.
• Work with project teams to manage changes effectively.
• Lead regular site meetings and progress reviews.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works meet approved designs.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress, risks, and changes.
• Support project completion, commissioning, and handover.
