The West Side Federation for Senior & Supportive Housing, Inc. in New York seeks an Income Certification Specialist to support compliance with HPD, LIHTC, NYCHA, Section 8 and related programs.

Reporting to the Property Manager, this full-time on-site role focuses on safeguarding assets and income streams while maintaining high standards. You will manage annual recertifications, rent rolls, and tenant ledgers, coordinate with leasing and compliance teams, and use RealPage for billing, subsidies,

Formación

• HPD, NYCHA, SECTION 8 guidelines knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet usage.
• Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
• Strong office/organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Liaise effectively with supervisors and staff.
• Be adaptable, multi-task and manage priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with annual compliance recertification and deadlines.
• Communicate updates and ensure regulatory program standards.
• Process rent bills/receipts and rent payments in RealPage.
• Maintain tenant/licensing master files and records quality control.
• Draft correspondence on building management, subsidies, and compliance.
• Be the primary contact for tenant ledgers, income limits, and rents.
• Support audit prep, responses, and data requests.
• Train staff in RealPage Affordable system use as needed.
