Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring an on-site Specialist, HVAC Technician in Boston. You will support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a Class A office building.

Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and tenant service requests. Requires 3+ years in related trades, EPA certification or plan to obtain it, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tall.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing and HVAC system upkeep.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and address tenant service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of building systems.
• Assist in on-call or emergency response when needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls and follow safety procedures.
