Job summary

JLL in Boston, MA is seeking a Specialist, HVAC Technician to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in a 237,000 square foot Class A office building. The role requires hands-on maintenance and collaboration with a two-person engineering team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage work orders, assist in on-call coverage, and troubleshoot building systems while adhering to safety procedures and participating in ongoing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or plan to achieve within first year (with JLL assistance).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Maintain CMMS work orders daily and respond to tenant requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Assist on-call or emergency response as needed.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in training programs.
• Support additional projects as assigned.
