Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building mechanical systems at Research Triangle Park, NC. You will work on air handling units, boilers, pumps, piping, and related equipment, with an emphasis on minimizing disruption to operations.

The role requires strong technical HVAC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and experience with CMMS/work order systems.

Qualifications

• Industrial HVAC experience is required.
• 6+ years of technical experience in building engineering.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical systems and components.
• Maintain and repair air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, boilers, pumps, piping and filters.
• Record readings, monitor HVAC and electrical systems and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage a work order system and document all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and ensure compliance with safety policies.
