Job summary

J.F. White Contracting is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for its Mechanical Division in Framingham, MA. The PM will oversee safety, quality, cost, schedule, coordination, and project progress, serving as the primary contact for owners on one or more jobs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of HVAC/Mechanical project experience and a degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Management. Expertise in piping theory and strong communication, planning, and team leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience managing HVAC/Mechanical projects.
• Mechanical/Civil/Construction Management degree preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical piping theory: hot water, chilled water, and drain piping.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor activities and projects.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and promote collaboration.
• Ability to persuade people at all organization levels.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and/or Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract and purchase order preparation and approval.
• Scheduling oversight.
• Correspondence and negotiations with client.
• M/W/DBE selection, auditing, and compliance.
• Job cost reviews.
• Change order and claim preparation.
• Monitoring quality and safety standards compliance.
• Ensuring project compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
