Job summary

J.F. White Contracting Co. in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Project Manager who will oversee HVAC/mechanical construction from inception to completion.

You will manage safety, budget, schedule, and communications with owners and subcontractors on one or more projects. The role requires at least 6 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical projects, a relevant engineering or construction degree, and strong leadership, planning, and tech skills (P6, AutoCAD, Procore).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience managing HVAC/Mechanical projects.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical piping theory, hot water, chilled water, and drain piping systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, prioritization, organization and monitoring abilities.
• Able to lead a team and work well cross-functionally.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, AutoCAD, and Procore is a plus.

Job description

J.F. White’s Mechanical Division offers a variety of mechanical services – including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, process piping, and instrumentation – to public and private clients. The Division’s experience with pumps, building controls, air handling, boiler installations, steam systems and chilled water systems has grown and developed over the past 25 years.

The Project Manager (PM) has full responsibility for their entire project. They are responsible for safety, quality, cost, schedule, coordination, and progress of the work. The PM will be the first point of contact for the owner. The PM will be responsible for one or more projects depending on contract amounts and project demand.
